Optional Virtual DJ expansion packs

Give Airwave a deeper personality lineup without replacing your station workflow.

VDJ Persona Packs are separately licensed collections of purpose-built Virtual DJs for specific formats, attitudes, and station styles. Install the packs you want and leave the rest out.

Persona Packs are being prepared now

The licensing, activation, secure package, and customer-download system is still being completed. No Persona Pack is being sold until that backend is ready and tested.

Pricing will be published when sales open.

Pack roadmap

Format-focused Virtual DJs with distinct personalities.

Each pack is designed as a coherent station-ready lineup rather than a pile of nearly identical prompts.

In development

Country Persona Pack

12 Virtual DJs - 6 male and 6 female.

A varied Country lineup with upbeat personalities, observational comedy, dry wit, snark, happy-go-lucky energy, serious delivery, and other clearly separated styles.

  • Natural light country twang
  • No cartoonish or exaggerated drawl
  • Distinct reusable persona identities
  • Provider/voice defaults with user override support

Planned

One-Hit Wonders Persona Pack

A personality collection built for the unusual programming style of a one-hit-wonder station, where the station itself is part of the joke, history, surprise, and listener experience.

  • Format-specific writing personality
  • Multiple distinct Virtual DJs
  • Designed to work with Airwave scheduling
  • Separate optional pack license

Future expansion

Additional Genre & Format Packs

Future packs can expand the available lineup without bloating the main Airwave installer. Only packs that are finished, licensed, signed, and tested will be released.

  • Install only what the station needs
  • Pack-specific version requirements
  • Independent pack updates
  • Commercial packs never bundled automatically

Pack licensing

One purchased pack seat. One active computer.

Persona Pack licensing is separate from the Airwave AutoJock Bridge software license.

  • One purchase creates one Persona Pack license seat.
  • Each paid seat may be active on one computer at a time.
  • Reinstalling or re-importing on the same computer does not consume another activation.
  • Moving a pack license to a different computer requires a license reset.
  • Stations that need the same pack on multiple computers purchase additional paid seats.

Secure pack delivery

Commercial Persona Packs will use Airwave's dedicated pack format and server-side licensing rather than being copied into the base application.

  • Signed/authenticated pack manifest
  • Pack version and minimum Airwave version recorded
  • Package integrity verified before import
  • License activation checked separately from the main Airwave license

Why separate packs?

Keep the core application stable while letting stations expand the lineup.

No unnecessary bloat

A Country station does not need to install every Rock, Oldies, Christmas, Latin, or specialty personality pack just to run Airwave.

Clear ownership

The station knows exactly which Persona Packs it owns, which computer each seat is active on, and when a reset is required.

Independent development

Persona Packs can be written, refined, signed, versioned, and released without forcing a rewrite of Airwave's stable production backend.

Persona Pack FAQ

How the add-on system will work.

Are Persona Packs included with an Airwave license?

No. Commercial Persona Packs are optional products with their own pack licenses. The Airwave base application and its license remain separate.

Can one Persona Pack purchase be used on several computers?

One purchased pack seat is active on one computer at a time. A station that needs the same pack on additional computers purchases additional paid seats.

What happens if I reinstall Airwave on the same computer?

A same-computer reinstall or pack re-import should recognize the existing machine activation rather than consuming another seat.

What if I replace the station computer?

The pack license must be reset before it is activated on a different computer. The reset moves the existing seat; it does not create an additional seat.

Will Persona Packs be copied into the normal Airwave installer?

No. Commercial packs remain separate downloads and are imported only by customers who hold the corresponding pack license.

When will the first Persona Pack be available?

The Country Persona Pack is in development. Sales will not open until pack licensing, activation, reset, download, and import testing are complete.

Airwave Persona Packs are coming next.

The public catalog will expand as each pack is completed and the dedicated licensing system is proven.
