Airwave Voices and DJs provider-rules view
Provider rules preserve named-DJ identity and keep incompatible features from silently changing providers.

Named Virtual DJs

Named Airwave Virtual DJs use Google AI Studio. Their identity includes the profile, provider, model, and assigned voice. When Google is unavailable, Airwave should use an explicitly labeled backup identity for eligible non-phone production rather than pretending the named DJ is still speaking.

Phone Calls and Request Line

Multi-speaker phone and request-line segments require the Google workflow. These features pause when Google is unavailable or over limit.

General non-phone production

OpenAI and ElevenLabs can be used for general non-phone production and backup voices when configured. The active provider chain is shown on the Dashboard.

Auto Select

Auto Select chooses the best eligible configured provider according to the feature and availability. After a one-time manual generation with a specifically selected provider, the interface may return to Auto Select.

Limits and billing

Provider quotas, model access, free tiers, paid usage, and account restrictions are controlled by the outside provider. Airwave cannot increase those limits.
