- Open Content & Scheduling and select Open Live News.
- Fetch the current headline set.
- Review the sources and select only appropriate, current items.
- Generate original station copy rather than reading an article verbatim.
- Review names, locations, dates, numbers, and pronunciations.
- Render the selected news voice with the required News music bed.
- Deliver immediately or save the recurring schedule.
Reusable and current news
A current newscast should be treated as time-sensitive. Do not mark a dated bulletin as evergreen. The Content & Scheduling overview reports whether any reusable current newscast is ready.
Editorial responsibility
The station remains responsible for accuracy, fairness, attribution, legal compliance, and the decision to air a story. Review generated copy before broadcast.
