Supported utility types
Timed Utilities can prepare top-of-hour, bottom-of-hour, weather, station liners, quick promos, birthdays, phone-call segments, request-line segments, and other configured utilities.
Build a schedule
- Open Content & Scheduling and select Open Timed Utilities.
- Choose the utility type.
- Choose the output slot or delivery target.
- Set the required interval or scheduled time.
- Save and enable the scheduler.
- Confirm the next-run time from the Content & Scheduling overview or the utility page.
Run Now
Use a Run Now action to run one configured utility without waiting for the next scheduled interval. Verify the script, voice, music bed, and output file before leaving the schedule enabled.
Avoid collisions
Do not schedule several production types to write the same output slot at the same time. Use separate fixed slots where possible and let the automation system decide when each slot belongs in the broadcast clock.
