What Airwave does
Airwave AutoJock Bridge is a Windows production bridge for radio stations. It reads information from supported automation workflows, creates station-aware spoken content, renders voice audio through the configured provider, optionally mixes a music bed, and writes finished TXT and WAV files for the playout system.
Your playout software remains responsible for the music log and the actual broadcast. Airwave works beside SAM Broadcaster, RadioDJ, PlayIt Live, or a compatible file-based export.
The main workflow
- Read automation data. Airwave watches the selected current/next export or reads it on demand for verification.
- Choose the production type. The app can prepare song breaks, liners, promos, weather, birthdays, live news, phone calls, request-line segments, and timed utilities.
- Write original copy. The selected Prompt Studio profile, Virtual DJ, station identity, and provider rules guide the script.
- Render the voice. Google AI Studio, OpenAI, or ElevenLabs is used according to the selected feature and provider rules.
- Deliver the result. Airwave writes the selected output slot and can stage a unique WAV in the SAMQueue or RadioDJ workflow.
What Airwave is not
- It is not a replacement music playout engine.
- It is not an encoder or streaming server.
- It does not organize music rotations for your automation software.
- It does not pay music royalties or third-party AI-provider charges.
- It cannot guarantee that an outside AI, weather, or payment provider will always be available.
