Purpose-locked beds

Keep separate folders for general production, Weather, Birthday, News, and any other production type that requires a specific sound. Airwave should not substitute an unrelated bed merely because another folder contains audio.

Prepare a bed

  • Use audio you have the legal right to broadcast.
  • Keep enough duration for the expected script length.
  • Avoid long silence at the beginning.
  • Normalize levels so one bed is not dramatically louder than the others.
  • Confirm voice intelligibility before live use.

Mixing and fades

Choose a production level that keeps the voice clear. Preview the next selected bed and adjust fades before running automated production.
