Choose the automation source
Use Quick Setup or the Dashboard Live Control Center to choose the automation workflow and export file. The selected mode determines how Airwave interprets current and upcoming metadata.
Verify once before watching
- Browse to the expected export file.
- Use Read Test or Read File.
- Confirm the Current Song and Up Next values.
- Confirm that imaging is not being mistaken for music.
- Only then enable Watch or Go Live.
Missing Up Next
Some export formats provide only the current item. Airwave can continue operating with reduced context, but a next-song frontsell or request-line workflow may not be available until the automation source supplies the upcoming item.
File permissions and locking
The Windows account running Airwave must be able to read the export file and write to the configured output folders. The automation exporter should replace or update files in a way that allows Airwave to read them.
