Purpose of Application Settings
Application Settings controls how Airwave works with the station’s playout and automation software. Use it for operational behavior rather than provider credentials or license activation.
Playout and automation software
- SAM Broadcaster: configure metadata input, queue handoff, PAL-related paths, and live output behavior.
- RadioDJ: configure the metadata exporter or supported integration path and the Airwave queue bridge.
- PlayIt Live / Generic Export: select the compatible metadata source and output method used by the station.
Common operational settings
- Automation input or export file
- Live output and queue folders
- Music-bed folders and production levels
- Generated-audio save policy
- Automatic generation and spacing behavior
- Provider fallback behavior used by the application
- Preview, theme, and general interface preferences
Change settings safely
Record the current working path before changing it. Make one change at a time, save, and verify the Dashboard and Output Slots before deleting or moving the previous folder.
